Regenerative medicine is an emerging specialty of medicine focused on enhancing the body’s ability to regenerate healthy tissue and overcome disease processes.  It accomplishes this by utilizing various sources of stem cells and/or growth factors as well as cellular byproducts to engage one’s body to grow healthy tissue with healthy cells.  Stem cell therapy can be used to treat many medical conditions by unlocking the natural ability of the human body to regenerate healthy tissue and restore health and function.

Adult stem cells can be obtained by a physician harvesting them from the patient.  This is done by extracting a small amount of bone marrow or adipose (fat) tissue, then processing the tissue to separate the stem cells to be reintroduced in the desired area of the body. Other sources of stem cells are cord blood and amniotic tissue, which can be purchased from labs, however, they are inferior due to the limited number of stem cells, and there is risk in introducing foreign cells into a patient’s body. A patient’s own stem cells, either from adipose (fat) or bone marrow, are superior to other sources of stem cells.

Exosomes are very important in regenerative medicine. Exosomes are tiny vesicles, or packets, carrying all of the important information of the cell. They are released from stem cells and transfer to other cells passing on all of the information. They are critical to the proliferation of healthy cells. It is believed that the regeneration of healthy tissue is not a direct result of the stem cells, but rather the exosomes left behind, that transfers the information from one cell to another.

The most superior combination of therapies is the use of stem cells with additional exosomes. This optimal combination is referred to as Clever Cells.

Regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy allows a human body to naturally heal.  It stimulates healthy cell growth and regenerates healthy tissue.

The myriad of conditions that can be helped with stem cell therapy is almost limitless, because it is encouraging the body to regenerate healthy tissue and heal.

This is a very exciting time in medicine, where we can treat medical conditions rather than just manage the symptoms and watch them progress.

Finally, there is something YOU can do to be proactive in regaining your health!!!!
